How Adoption Works
Step 1: Meet Our Cats
Browse our available cats and learn a little about their personalities, needs and the type of home that may suit them best.
Step 2: Submit an Application
Found someone who caught your eye? Complete an adoption application so we can learn more about you, your household and what you're looking for in a companion.
Step 3: Application Review
Our team reviews applications with the individual cat's needs in mind. We may contact you to ask additional questions or discuss whether the cat may be a good fit for your home.
Step 4: Meet & Greet
We'll arrange a time for you to meet the cat and get to know one another
Step 5: Welcome Them Home
Once the adoption is approved and finalized, it's time for the best part — bringing your new family member home

Some thrive with children, other cats or dogs, while others are happiest in a quieter home or as the only pet. Our team considers each cat's personality, history and individual needs when reviewing applications.

The 3 - 3 - 3 Rule
Your cat may hide, eat less or feel overwhelmed. Give them a quiet, safe space and let them approach you at their own pace
3 Days: Decompress
Your cat may begin exploring more, learning household routines and showing more of their personality as their confidence grows
3 Weeks: Learn the Routine
Your cat may feel secure, form stronger bonds and become comfortable with their new home and family.
3 Months: Feel at Home
Remember: 3-3-3 is a guideline, not a deadline.
Some cats settle in quickly, while others need considerably more time. Give your new companion patience, consistency and the freedom to adjust at their own pace.
