FELINE NEEDS

NAPS takes in hundreds of felines each year in an effort to reduce stray & feral populations & assist with owner surrenders, TNR Programs, Barn Cat Programs & much more. Handling that many cats means the requirement of LOTS of supplies - many of which need frequent replacement.  Check out the list below to see which items the shelter could most use to keep things running smoothly. Items we need the most are in bold.

OFFICE NEEDS

Paperwork, record keeping, marketing and administration are all an important part of running a non-profit society.  Our brand new facility has an animal free space just for this purpose.  Having never had this type of space before, we are excited to have a dedicated area to get some important work done, but require some office supplies to make it work.  Below is a list of items we would love to receive.
  • File Folders
  • Printer Paper 8x10
  • Ballpoint Pens
  • Dry ease markers
  • Whiteboards (small & large)
  • Tape (scotch type)
  • Receipt books (dollar store)

CLEANING SUPPLIES

Where there are animals, there are messes.  Volunteers spend the majority of their time at the shelter cleaning, sterilizing and washing to prevent the spread of disease/viruses and make sure our animals are comfortable and healthy. This means we go through ALOT of cleaning supplies.  Below is a list of items we frequently require.  Items in bold are items we go through quickly.
  • Paper towel & Toilet paper
  • Virkon (A pet safe disinfectant. Can be purchased at the Nanton Vet Clinic)
  • Mop Solution - Any brand

  • Large black garbage bags
  • Smaller white garbage bags
  • Windex
  • Kirkland laundry pods

LINENS

Linens such as towel, tea towels, dishcloths, sheets, blankets and comforters are always appreciated and can help with cleaning tasks and also to help keep our animals comfy whether they are kenneled for medical observation or lounging in the open concept spaces.  Most linen items will be accepted providing they are in good condition. We cannot accept pillows or cushions due to their inability to be washed.

AMAZON WISH LIST

We put together a quick Amazon Wish List for those who prefer to shop online.  Each item was specifically chosen with our animals in mind.
